How to do it
Steps | Suggested time |

Call on a student and ask them a question, or give them a prompt. | 1–2 minutes |

Depending on the answer, either support it, or clarify a better answer. | 1–2 minutes |
Ask the class if they feel they understand by a show of hands, to decide whether to move on or reinforce. | 1 minute |
